Coffee Morning kick-starts community events
Millennium Care will be hosting a coffee morning in Standish to support and raise awareness for a national dementia charity this February.
Hosted at the Standish Care Village, the event will kick-start the Group’s Together at The Village sessions, which will see a wide range of activities delivered for all those connected to Standish and the provider.
The coffee morning will be held at Langtree Care Home on Friday, 6th February, between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm, with all members of the community welcome to attend.
The morning will be in aid of Dementia UK, a specialist dementia nursing charity which supports people across the UK.
Dementia UK provide free, life-changing support and advice to anyone affected by dementia.
Guests can treat themselves to warm drinks and a selection of cakes and treats, home-cooked by the Langtree's culinary team.
Langtree Care Home is the third home within the Standish Care Village, joining Lakeside Care Home and Worthington Lake Care Home. Representatives from the three homes will be in attendance to give visitors a clear understanding of Standish Care Village and the Together at The Village sessions.
