Since becoming a resident at Worthington Lake Care Home my father’s health and general demeanour have improved dramatically. I can honestly say this place is amazing. Never did I think I’d find a care home for my dad that’s like home from home. They do lots of activities daily, the staff are immense, very approachable and the carers go above and beyond their duties.

My partner has joined the residents after suffering a stroke in November 2021. Despite a good recovery at the age of almost 89 he can be unsteady and had lost confidence and has become isolated through not leaving the house.Since joining the Lakeside community he has been encouraged to be as independent as possible, made new friends and even been out and about to places like the local library again.
