Care in the heart of the village

The new Standish Care Village demonstrates a progressive and innovative model of care for the elderly in our area. Comprising of Worthington Lake Care Home and Lakeside Care Home, and the recently completed Langtree Care Home, the village will enable continuity of care for our residents like no other.

Together, the three homes will provide an unrivalled level of care coverage, from respite and residential to nursing and dementia care. Working in this way ensures minimal disruption for residents as their needs change, allowing them to stay on the same familiar site with the same familiar people.

Adding to The Village, in 2026, construction will begin on The Nest, an on-site nursery that will deliver a consistent stream of intergenerational care and support the growing community need for outstanding nursery care in the region

The Standish Care Village has been designed to ensure that those who live with us are supported with their independence and age with vibrancy.

Centred around the household model of care philosophy, we will ensure that those who live with us continue to do so with a strong sense of purpose in a village community where relationships thrive. We believe that the design of the environment we live in, both architecturally and through green spaces, positively impacts our mental and physical wellbeing.

Featuring bird watching observation decks, woodland walking trails, dining terraces overlooking Worthington Lake and being wrapped around the beauty of several hundred trees this holistic approach to care is at the heart of everything we do.

Through a range of care acuities from residential, nursing, dementia and complex cognitive support we will be able to ensure that Standish Care Village is able to provide a continuity of care and safe haven for any care eventualities. This ensures that those who live in our village are always connected to the heartbeat of the community spirit.

Langtree Care Home

Langtree Care Home is Millennium Care's new 52-bed home for late-stage dementia and complex cognitive support that will revolutionise care in our region. The final piece of the Standish Care Village jigsaw.

Worthington Lake Care Home

Worthington Lake Care Home is tailored for state-of-the-art dementia care, both in design and culture. From expertly trained staff to a bespoke open-plan environment, we’ve worked with leading academics to create a home that promotes independence, improves wellbeing, and empowers residents. From the open plan, homely communal spaces, to large, dementia-friendly gardens, our home has been designed and built for those living with dementia.

Lakeside Care Home

Lakeside Care Home provides comfort, safety, and a healthy dose of luxury are all prerequisites at the home. Our shared spaces include beautiful greenbelt locations, three spacious and elegant lounges, an in-house salon and a bistro.

Woodland Walks

As a local business, our commitment is to embrace our local area and create a thriving environment that supports the wellbeing of our residents, neighbourhood and natural surroundings. Through consultation with our arborist, ecology consultants and landscape architects we embrace positive use of our green spaces for the both the wellbeing of our residents and all who visit us.

The Nest

A forestry-led nursery providing 40 places which will support residents' families, staff and the wider community. The nursery will be the home of intergenerational activities within The Village, which will provide countless benefits for years to come.
