Millennium shortlisted for three Awards

2 minute read

Millennium Care has been shortlisted three times at the National Care Home Awards.

The group has been shortlisted for Innovation in Care and Best for Wellbeing while the pick of the bunch is the Best for Architecture or Interior Design Award.

Worthington Lake Care Home, based in Standish and the group’s newest home, was shortlisted due to its dementia-accredited design.

Built with dementia in mind, the care provider worked with Stirling University to create a home fit for purpose.

The Care Home Awards is an annual benchmark of excellence and innovation for care home management, operations, and delivery, celebrating the business of owning and running care homes in the UK.

A celebration of the finalists and presentations of awards will take place on June 30th at the Royal Garden Hotel, London.

“For the group to become shortlisted for these three awards is a real accolade and testament to the hard work that takes place across our group. Credit must go to our dedicated team who are always striving to deliver the very best care to residents.

“We are incredibly humbled by this nomination and are grateful to our residents and their families for their continued support.”
