Lakeside Donates Gifts for a Good Cause

Activity Coordinator, Ash and Domestic Assistant Amanda rallied together to raise donations for Wigan hospital and Nature Trial Nursery Euxton.

After putting an appeal to the staff at Lakeside for donations, the first stop for Ash and Amanda was Wigan hospital, donating 56 selection boxes and plush toys to the Rainbow Ward and children’s A&E for all the kids.

The hospital plans to send thank you cards after receiving the donations from Lakeside as a token of appreciation.

The team then visited Nature Trial Nursery in Euxton to donate a generous amount of children’s story books and toys which were donated by Joan Booth’s family, a resident at Lakeside Care Home.
