Domestic Assistant - Lavender Hills

Role & responsibilities

• Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of cleaning implementation and delivery
• To supervise the cleaning and laundry services in accordance with agreed standards
• Implement actions to meet and maintain cleaning standards
• Systematically solve day-to-day problematical issues which arise
• Evaluate standards of cleaning competence
• Ensure the residents’ rights are protected
• Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
• Develop effective working relationships with the other employees working in the home
• Be involved in the implementation and maintenance of the service's quality assurance programme
• Cooperate with the implementation, evaluation, orientation, and induction of all new employees
• Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
• Take responsibility for your own professional development through performance and development reviews and undertake any relevant training
• To maintain housekeeping skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may, from time to time, be required to maintain that currency of practice
