"My mother-in-law has been a resident since February 2022. She has never looked back, which gives us a real feeling that we did the right thing for her. This is down to all the staff at the home that looks after her like she was one of their family."

"What a huge relief it was to get Mum a place at Marley Court Nursing & Residential Home. Right from my initial contact asking for advice, I received reassurance and support from everyone I spoke to. Nothing was too much trouble. Mum has now been a resident for 12 months, and I am so impressed by the high standard of care she receives."

"The end-of-life care for our aunt has been the very best. Our aunt was treated with dignity throughout her stay at Marley Court, and all staff were very attentive to her needs, right to the very end, which meant so much to us. Staff always greeted us warmly, with a ready smile, and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Despite the sadness of the situation, we will always remember Marley Court with fond memories."

"Marley Court is an amazing place! The staff are fantastic, patient and nothing is too much trouble. The facilities are excellent and the home is so clean and tidy. Mum is so well cared for, has been on many trips out and enjoys all the social interactions that she would never have had with her previous care arrangements. I am always welcomed warmly and feel relaxed and at home here. Mum was a very good cook so it is high praise indeed that she thinks the food is excellent."

"My Mum has been a resident of Lavender Hills for well over a year and I can honestly say that my family and I cannot speak highly enough of the care she has received during this time. The home is beautifully situated and is well maintained and cheerful. The staff are amazing and I cannot thank them enough for the way in which my Mum has been looked after. They are always very caring, reassuring and sensitive to Mum’s needs and have undertaken a whole host of activities to keep the residents entertained. I’m always amazed by how much time and effort goes into the activities provided by staff, which I often see on their Facebook page."

"The staff are kind, caring, compassionate, and professional. Looking after my Father in Law during a very difficult time, we couldn’t have asked for more. These people became part of our extended family and we will never be able to thank them enough for caring for Dad (and us) with such dignity and respect. I have already recommended Lavender Hill to others and would have no question in my mind as to where to go if/when we need help in the future.10/10 from us and I’d give more if I could. Thank you to you all."

"I can honestly say this place is amazing. Never did I think I’d find a care home for my dad that’s like home from home. They do lots of activities daily, the staff are immense, very approachable and the carers go above and beyond their duties."

"I did months of research, speaking to several Homes in the Bury area (where dad lived) as well as Hampshire, (where I live). - Lavender Hills kept coming out on top.Dad moved into Lavender Hills in March 2022, and I can honestly say we’ve been blown away by how caring and friendly all the staff have been towards Dad, his family, and his friends."

"The time had come when my stepfather could no longer care for our mother at home, so we had to start making plans to look for a new ‘home’ for our mum. Due to Mum's progressing dementia, certain homes could not take her, but Brookdale was different. We had many meetings with the management to discuss our mum's needs and the scenarios of what would happen if her dementia goes to a stage where they couldn’t manage her, but they were open and honest all the way along. Mum has a new family now, the carers are her new family, and sometimes she doesn’t recognise us at all. When you get over this hurdle, you will accept the changes a lot easier. To see her happy face, makes you realise, that she’s in the best place. The care home is clean, there is no clinical smell in it, and there are many activities happening, which is great to see. The food looks very well prepared and appropriate for residents with needs, and daily treats are still given out, which is a nice touch."

"Great home seems to always be investing back into the home to benefit the resident's lifestyle. Lots of social activities on offer from social media which is nice to all the residents smiling away every day."

"My daughter visited nine other homes and she knew when she visited Brookdale this would be the home for me, she was right. I have my independence here and I can join in any of the activities."

"Brookdale is a hugely warm-hearted and uplifting care home. I can't imagine the care being bettered. The sensitivity shown to my mum and also to me has been remarkable and so very welcome. Whenever I have any questions, they have also been fully listened to and answered with real understanding and exceptional emotional support. It has been difficult to leave my mum as I don't live nearby, but I know that she is wonderfully looked after and happy. This helps enormously. She enjoys her room, which is painted in warm colours and having coffee and cake in the delightful cafe. I want to thank all the staff and carers, the cleaners, the ladies in the laundry - everyone who I regularly see when I visit or telephone. They are tremendous."
