The new Standish Care Village demonstrates a progressive and innovative model of care for the elderly in our area. Comprising the existing Worthington Lake and Lakeside Care Homes, and the recently completed Langtree care home, the village will enable continuity of care for our residents like no other.
Together, the three homes will provide an unrivalled level of care coverage, from respite and residential to nursing and dementia care. Working in this way ensures minimal disruption for residents as their needs change allowing them to stay on the same familiar site with the same familiar people.

The Standish Care Village has been designed to ensure that those who live with us are supported with their independence and age with vibrancy.
Centred around the household model of care philosophy, we will ensure that those who live with us continue to do so with a strong sense of purpose in a village community where relationships thrive. We believe that the design of the environment we live in, both architecturally and through green spaces, positively impacts our mental and physical wellbeing.
Featuring bird watching observation decks, woodland walking trails, dining terraces overlooking Worthington Lake and being wrapped around the beauty of several hundred trees this holistic approach to care is at the heart of everything we do.
Through a range of care acuities from residential, nursing, dementia and complex cognitive support we will be able to ensure that Standish Care Village is able to provide a continuity of care and safe haven for any care eventualities. This ensures that those who live in our village are always connected to the heartbeat of the community spirit.

What types of care do you provide?
The new Langtree Care Home will provide advanced nursing and dementia care, this will enable Millennium to care for all levels of need within the Standish Care Village.
When will the Standish Care Village be complete?
We’re hopeful that the project will be complete by 2025, but this isn’t something we’re going to rush. The end result and the sites practicality is the most important thing.
