Langtree hosts 'Rooftop Party'
Last week we hosted a ‘Rooftop Party’ to celebrate the completion of an important milestone at Langtree Care Home.
In a twist to a traditional topping-out ceremony, the Group hosted a ‘Rooftop Party’ to celebrate the completion of the home’s roof.
Despite last week’s torrential rain, the event came off unscathed with care home residents, employees and external stakeholders all able to enjoy it comfortably.
The event had a summer feel with professional cocktail makers, an amazing BBQ and music while small groups were treated to site tours and visits to the newly created Standish Care Village Information Hub which depicts the style of the new home.
Langtree Care Home, to be completed later this year, is a state-of-the-art 52-bed EMI care home that will finalise the Standish Care Village alongside Worthington Lake and Lakeside Care Home; the two best-rated care homes in Wigan according to carehome.co.uk.
The village will provide a continuity of care like no other in the region with residents able to stay on the same familiar site, with the same care provider as their condition changes. The homes will cater for respite, residential, nursing, dementia and EMI care.
