Christmas Fayre at Windsor

3 minute read

Windsor House hosted their annual Christmas Fayre on Saturday 16th of December, welcoming families and friends.

The Fayre aimed to unite everyone during the holiday season and generated funds for the residents' trips in 2024.

The event included local singer Jerry Eccles, a raffle, and Christmas stalls. The stalls had various festive treats made by residents and the kitchen staff.

Kids were treated to a festive crafts area which had lots of colouring and craft options.

“The day went well for everyone; families were joyful, and the Christmas buffet was a great success! A few of our residents couldn’t wait to get up on their feet and dance to the live music with families and staff.

“It is worth all the effort put into organising and preparing when you get to see so many joyful, smiling faces."

Bianca Galesanu, Activity Coordinator

The annual Christmas Fayre holds an important role in creating a sense of belonging, joy, and community spirit while catering to the specific needs and interests of the residents during the holiday season.

“I love these Christmas Fayres! It’s always great to celebrate something and Christmas is always a good excuse. Let the festivities begin!”

Joan Finch, Resident
