Dining Room Assistant - Lakeside Care Home

Dining Assistant

We’re looking for someone to join our team to provide dining room support at mealtimes and general laundry and cleaning duties as part of a fantastic team here at Lakeside Care Home. This is a combined role which would be suited to someone who enjoys variety and a fast-paced environment.

Role and responsibilities

• Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of cleaning implementation and delivery
• Implement action to meet and maintain cleaning standards
• Evaluate standards of cleaning competence
• Ensure the residents’ rights are protected
• Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
• Develop effective working relationships with the other employees within the service
• Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
• Take responsibility for your own professional development through performance and development reviews and undertake any relevant training
• To maintain cleaning skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from time to time be required to maintain that currency of practice

Working hours: Full-time, working alternate weekends
