Completing the Standish Care Village, Langtree is a 52-bed care home offering specialist dementia nursing and advance dementia care.
Your Room
Langtree Care Home has been thoughtfully designed to provide all the comforts of home. We believe that the design of an environment plays a vital therapeutic role for people living with dementia. All bedrooms have an en-suite, large windows or doors that lead directly to nature, brand new smart televisions and a selection of beautifully curated furniture and decor that ensures maximum comfort, privacy and warmth.
Our Activities
With a talented in-house team, your loved one will be active and engaged, not only having fun and enjoyment but doing activities that contribute positively towards their health and wellbeing. Our Lifestyle & Enrichment Coordinator, Group Music Ambassador, Occupational Therapist, and Personal Trainer create bespoke plans to provide daily, meaningful engagement at Langtree – hobbies and passions do not stop here!
Dining in our Household
Langtree operates a Household Model of Care; the home is specially designed to do so. A big part of that revolves around the kitchen and dining experience.
Our Head Chef and his team create amazing, nutrition-led meals with plenty of choice and variation. The dining rooms are open plan and connected to working kitchens, creating a communal space, full of engagement opportunities resembling a traditional household.
An Idyllic Location
Studies have shown that access to green spaces and natural views helps people live longer. Nestled in a 9-acre country estate, Langtree overlooks open fields and woodland, has private access to a local lake and an off-road mobility scooter.
Keep your eyes peeled, there’s nature all around, while the home’s reception features a selection of umbrellas and wellingtons, so everyone is prepared for adventure, whatever the season!

Andrew Thompson
I care deeply about dignity, connection, and making a real difference. Dementia care lets me use my empathy, creativity, and humour to support people through distress with compassion, helping them feel safe, understood, and valued, even when words fail.
Millennium Care give me the best possible platform for this.
Glen Roberts
My job is to create menus and dishes that cater to every resident's preferences and nutritional needs.
Working at Langtree is great because I feel very supported by the team around me and have free rein to bring new and unique ideas to the home through food.
Sabrina Myers
I love being able to bring life and happiness to the residents where they feel at home. To see that happiness and to bring that joy just helps me enjoy what I do.

Beth Forster
I provide Music Therapies across all our Homes, and I’m responsible for facilitating the Music in Mind group and individual sessions.
I’m generally based at Lakeside and love being able to use music to connect with and engage our residents. Getting to spend my days with so many amazing people is why I love working for Millennium Care.
