Residential Care

Residents at Windsor House choose how they want to spend their time, pursuing a wide range of interests and hobbies – from gardening and flower arranging to movie nights and baking. Guests are free to furnish their luxury bedroom however they like, with personal belongings – cushions, art or ornaments – providing that true homely feeling.

Home Manager

I've worked in care since I was 18 and fell in love with the work. I've always aspired to be in Management to inspire others to love the job the same way I do.

Fun fact, my first language is Welsh! I'm a mother of three and thrive off the chaos and challenge.

Since joining Millennium Care in 2018, I've never looked back!

My job as head cook involves making sure all resident's dietary requirements are met and they enjoy all their freshly cooked, hearty meals. I truly enjoy every single working day. My work colleagues make the workplace feel like a real home from home environment.

"I cannot praise the staff at Windsor House enough for the care and compassion they showed towards my mum during her respite period of care. The staff went over and above to ensure she was cared for, including when she, unfortunately, became unwell. One staff member even did a 24-hour shift to ensure Mum was safe until she could be transferred to the hospital. The staff worked as a team to provide excellent care for their residents. Myself and family will be forever grateful to Windsor House for the kindness shown at a very difficult time."

Frequently asked questions

Are there any additional costs?

We do charge for some add-ons such as hairdressing, chiropodist and newspapers.

What are your visiting hours?

We only ask that you avoid meal times!

What do you do for your residents?

We have an Activity Co-ordinator, a Music Therapist and an Occupational Therapist which means our residents are always stimulated and get the most out of their stay.

What investments do you make at the home?

As a provider, Millennium Care, are all about innovation and investment. As a home we want to provide the best facilities for our residents, we’re always looking to improve our home with small and large projects.
